our history
We are a family owned and operated business that started as a small DJ/Karaoke service in the Addison area back in 2005. Walter Herwig is the owner, founder, and was the only employee. Since 2005, with Walter’s fun personality and aim to please all clientele, SuperStar Entertainment has grown! We are now serving in all DFW at bars, clubs, private events, corporate events, birthday parties, schools, and weddings.

Meet SuperStar Entertainment, LLC
Walter
Is a native Texan, born in San Antonio and raised in Houston. He moved up to Dallas with his family when he was a teenager. Walter graduated from KD Studio in 1997 and has always had a attraction to the entertainment industry.
Even as a child, Walter has always had a passion for music. His favorite bands include, Erasure, Depche Mode, and George Michael…along with much of the 90’s and today’s music!
In 2005, he helped a DJ friend fill in at a small sports bar in Addison. He fell in love entertaining guests with music and creating a fun, worry-free, party environment. That is when he decided to start his adventure as a DJ.
Since 2005, Walter has entertained at bars, clubs, private parties, schools, weddings (to name a few). He has been a stay-at-home dad to his daughter Emma since she was born in 2008. Pursuing his DJ career part-time to be home with her. In 2015, Walter decided to create SuperStar Entertainment and go after his DJ adventure in full force. He plans to provide much more services in the future along with music. Character performances, equipment rental, and much more!
Walter takes great pride is providing his clients with the utmost integrity and professionalism. There is no job too big or too small for Walter!
Katie
Was born in Denver, Colorado and moved to Texas with her family at age five. She met Walter in 2001 and after many, many dates they were married in August of 2004. While attending Texas Woman’s University for Elementary Education, she began to work at a dental office. She fell in love with the dental field and quickly got into management. After seven years of management, in July of 2014, Katie was diagnosed with stage 4 metastic melanoma. She continued to work but in the beginning of 2015 had to leave her career in the dental field. She now stays at home to take care of their daughter Emma and to continue her ongoing treatments at MD Anderson in Houston.
In March of 2015, Katie started to work for SuperStar Entertainment. She is responsible for all the behind the scenes work and also works as our Event Coordinator. Katie will be the one you talk to on the phone or get a quick email from. She helps keep SuperStar Entertainment, Walter and the household organized and busy! Katie has been known to host a few events herself-so watch out!
Emma
Born in Frisco, Texas in 2008! She moved with her Mom and Dad to Corinth when she was two years old!
She is now eight years old and in second grade. She has two dogs, four chickens, 2 hermit crabs and a beta fish.
She has been in gymnastics for four years and has started her competitions! Emma loves gymnastics and anything outdoors. Her favorite hobby is reading and she LOVES spending time with her friends and cousins.
